Job Function and Key Duties and Responsibilities:


This position is responsible for storage and backup configuration, support, upgrade, deployment and major projects pertaining to the SAN/NAS storage and backup Infrastructure. ‚€Ę Subject Matter Expert in Storage and Backup technologies¬ ¬ 


‚€Ę Govern and oversee Managed Service Provider


‚€Ę Lead troubleshooting complex issues within the Storage environment. Excellent understanding of all operating environments including ZOS, Windows, Unix, Linux and VMWare. Capable of coordinating with other teams when needed, documenting the results and developing solutions to prevent future incidents.


‚€Ę Lead major projects, developing implementation plans, tasks, and coordinating the effort to implementation.


‚€Ę Produce metrics and status reports to present infrastructure performance and work initiative progress to leadership. Assist with reporting 'best practices', availability and service management metrics measuring the success of the team effectiveness


‚€Ę Responsible for storage disaster recovery operation and readiness. Execute DR testing procedures and provide support.


‚€Ę Full project/product life cycle management experience; ability to handle mid to large projects and support incidents with little to no guidance

Required Qualifications:


‚€Ę 7+ years of experience working with various enterprise storage including EMC VMAX, VPLEX, NetApp and Brocade SAN.


‚€Ę 7+ years of experience with NetApp NAS.


‚€Ę experience with Veritas Netbackup administration and Veeam is a plus.


‚€Ę Experience with cloud storage such as Amazon S3, EMC Centera(ECS) or IBM COS (S3).


‚€Ę Experience with storage access from multiple Operating Systems(zOS, Unix, Windows, VMWare, Citrix etc.)


‚€Ę Experience with disaster recovery techniques including EMC SRDF and NetApp SnapMirror replication


‚€Ę Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
