FCA Service Manual Mechanical Author

Summary/Objective: This position is responsible for the development and production of all aspects of Technical information required for service, diagnostic information within the automotive industry.  These aspects include, but are not limited to; removal and installation procedures, disassembly and assembly procedures, specification tables, cautions, warnings, creation of illustration go-by's, symptom based diagnostics, and other related electrical service information.   Development may be in multiple formats and may involve interface with multiple clients both internal and external.  Regardless of deliverable or style, this position must ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks which maintain compliance to both corporate and customer standards. Essential Functions: Accurately develop system specific diagnostics, service and electrical service procedures using client supplied information. Follow current diagnostic and service development procedures and processes as necessary to ensure deliverable meets or exceeds client expectations. Document open issues and follow through on resolution and inclusion. Complete assignments to support existing business and new business; including new products and services. Use of procedures, records, tools, equipment, facilities, others as appropriate. Use of Content Development QS 9000/TS16949 Procedures, Work Instructions, Training and Records according to the corporate quality system. Provide updated project information relating to project schedules, and project changes.  Develop and maintain strong client relationships with the engineering and service organizations. Follow-up on all client feedback. Ensure all client revisions/discussions are incorporated and distributed to the teams for action.                   Other Job Functions: Experienced in developing diagnostic & service information for Dealer Technicians and the automotive service industry. Solid understanding of SGML/XML authoring tools, Adept Style Editors, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, or equivalent email package. Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop or other similar software. Experience working collaboratively with client service teams in fast paced environment.  Ability to dialog freely with internal teams about projects to ensure solutions are well planned. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Exceptional attention to detail and thorough approach to follow-through on all tasks. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiencies. Ability to multitask and interface with many personalities. Enthusiastic and well organized. Successful at maintaining schedules and raising issues as necessary. Envision, Plan and Manage time/workload to ensure successful delivery of projects. Ability to work with domestic and international business cultures.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
